Editor’s note: On January 23th, the eve of the Chinese Spring Festival, thousands of doctors, nurses, and volunteers in Wuhan had to stay in the hospitals because of the outbreak of the coronavirus. Wuhan, a city of a population of over 11 million people, made an extremely difficult decision: lock down the city to stop the virus from spreading.
More and more medical teams and supplies from all parts of the country started heading for Wuhan, the frontline of the epidemic. And our friends all over the world expressed their care and support. Wuhan is strongly backed up by our great nation and all people of the world.
China has entered a period of anti-epidemic, through careful protection measures such as measuring body temperature in public places, disinfection of publicity facilities, updated epidemic maps on mobile phones, contactless takeout, and mobile payment, the epidemic situation has improved. After nearly two months at a tough fight, we are seeing light coming through. Even though it has been cleared, the isolation measures have not been completely removed. The number of COVID-19 cases in China is no longer increasing, and the epidemic situation has been basically controlled.
Globally, more than 3.65 million cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, we are facing a real global crisis right now. And no country could be immune from it. More and more countries have turned to China for help. China has always been a grateful nation throughout its history. China chooses to stand out and stretch out its hands to those who are in need, even though we haven’t been fully recovered from the outbreak ourselves.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, many countries had reached out to their helping hands and insisted on giving out what they have for SalvationDATA.
